Everything is well put in the clip etc, but every time I try to back up the BIOS what ever I get the 10001100 error which is the failed to initialize BIOS. I don't know why it keeps doing that. I already opened up the PS3 2 times to check if the e3 flasher clip got disconnected or something, but no it's well put in. Can someone help. Am I missing something? PS I don't have a E3 card reader? Do I need one? I'm using my dad's USB camera. That's how I'm copying the E3 flasher files over to PS3. The PS3 model on the one I have is CECH-2501B the MOVE Bundle PS3 320 GB.

well the only problem possible is connection. The E3 is pretty crappy to begin with (from experience) and there are so many issues. try taping and pressing a hard foam over the clip when you put the ps3 back together. Check for breaks and dust that might be on the clip. also, orange clip can easily be obstructed even if bent. I had to break off a metal piece and remove a screw because it was going to puncture the orange clip.

PS don't need a e3 card reader. better to use a SD card over a USB, but that's fine. You Do, however, need a way to put your PS3 into Factory Service Mode by either a dongle or PSP. and you would need a USB to copy files over directly from stick to PS3 (not e3 to PS3)
