If not...Will any trophies I earned on thr 3.55 ps3 data transfer to my 4.0 ps3?

you can't transfer a game from CFW and play it on a 4.0 ps3, i don't think trophies transfer either i think it tells you to sync them before you transfer but i maybe wrong on that

The game transfer wouldn't work because you would need to activate the game through PSN to play it, and since you have not bought the game, it would not activate. If you're talking about a full ps3 game ran through a backup manager, backup managers cannot be run on an OFW.

As for the copying of trophies, I am not sure. You might be able to back it up and restore it, when you chose the option it should say what the backup includes.
