(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a full 5gb ripped disc game, and no idea where to put the files/directory. I have Comgenie and MultiMan apps.
Comgenie won't let me make a /PS3_GAME/ folder under app_home.
I've done this before with other games but now I'm completely clueless, that was about a year ago.

1.) You need to have a disk already inserted in the PS3 to start of with.
2.) You need to copy the disk with MultiMan or, my preferred choice Gaia Manager You must login or register to view this content. because of it's simplicity.
3.) If you use the Gaia Manager like I advised, then it will automatically make a folder in your hdd0 or usb (depending on which you copied your game to) called BDS and everytime you want to play a game you just go straight into Gaia Manager and it's there.
4.) If you still would rather use Multiman then I would assume it would automatically creat a folder in your usb or hdd0 called GAMES or GAMEZ.
5.) Just make sure if you launch the games, that you have a disk aleady in their so your PS3 can aste the files on to it (your disk will not be changed though if you take it out)

I've successfully made a copy of the disc in MultiMan, then I press to load it under MultiMan, it quits out to XMB and then I start the game under /app_home/PS3_GAME/ icon.
But it's giving a BLACK SCREEN.

Help? I can press the PS button while in the black screen and the XMB loads, but the game is just a black screen.

I believe some games don't load via the '/app_home/PS3_Game/ icon

Have a PS3 game already inserted in the PS3, like for an old PS3 game will work and then load the game you are trying to play from Multiman, and once you are out on the XMB scroll up to the PS3 game icon and it should say the name of the game you just loaded from Multiman and not the actual game in the drive. Just press X on that and it should load up just fine.
