you sure that you installed the right thing? 4.00 spoofer requires rebug 3.55.2 and update .6 pkg to work correctly. it sounds like you were running the 3.72 spoofer(pkg made for non rebug firmware). if you can still get the recovery menu , I would reinstall the firmware and try again. download rebug 3.55.2 install that then install the rebug update.06 pkg then use rebug selector.
