Yes you can jailbreak it, you need to update to 3.41 or 3.55 using an official firmware.. I recommend 3.55, since all you need is a USB to Jailbreak it.

Update to 3.55 then install CFW. :p theres a sticky about it on here on how to do it im pretty sure man
