Ive really been into game development for awhile now, but I dont really like pc game development...what I really want to do is make a ps3 game, but im not sure how I would go about getting a developers kit. Ive got the money and ive heard you can ask sony for a dev kit and they will send you one as long as you sign a couple contracts.

If there is an easier way of making a game for the ps3 please tell me...Ive played around with some game engines such as CryEngine, unity 3d, and some others...Ive heard Cryengine is capable of being put onto ps3, but I was told that requires a dev kit. The codeing it uses is C++. So if anyone knows how to get a pc game or any type of game made on a computer working on the ps3 please tell me. I plan on actually making a game for pc during the summer and getting better at codeing, since im prettty decent with 3d design already. ( playing with a pc controller isnt he same as playing on ps3 )

I have 2 ps3s...One of them is jailbroken and the other is on normal updated firmware. I thought the fact the one of my ps3s is jailbroken would be useful info for some reason.

They cost thousands of dollars, if you can even find one.

Well money isnt a problem. I know what it will cost me....so if you have any idea where I might be able to get an xbox XDA or a ps3 SDK then please tell me.
