You can, but you need to purchase something called an "e3 flasher", which requires opening up your ps3, putting in by soldering etc. It's quite complicated, if you don't know what your ding you could mess up your PS3. Better just to buy another ps3 on craigslist, ebay etc. Just Google "e3 flasher"

E3flasher, you need that buddy, check on eBay, problem people want to get rid of it... It's usefull also you could downgrade 4.11 systems
