Yes I do this all the time:
Get a 1.11 patch on your CFW ps3.
Data transfer it.
Back it up in the 4.11.
Go back to the CFW ps3 then put a 1.13 patch on it.
Data transfer it to the 4.11
Back it up on the 4.11

You can do this with however man versions you want. For example, I have 4 backups, one is for bypassing for fun, another is for bypassing with an injectable mod menu patch, and the other 2 are for 1.13 but the patches are slightly different. It is WAY quicker than data transferring but it must be backed up on YOUR 4.11 PS3

k, use an external hardrive packing some gigs behind it. to convert it to FAT32 you may need a program of the internet to do this.
when you've done the data transfer cannect the external hardrive and go to system setting, back up, back up.
when you want to use the stuff that you have backed up go system settings, back up, restore

Can I use like a USB? or maybe something that can store memory?
I really don't want to buy a external hard drive..
Thanks.

yes you can use a usb however an external hardrive is more convenient. Depending on how much stuff you are backing up you can use a usb. if you are just backing up what i said then you can use a use and then cut the files of it onto a computer then put it back in when you want to restore it.
