Buy a 3.55 ps3 and then install cfw on it by creating folder called PS3 and Then Update with the cfw in the update folder then update 3.55 ps3 through memory device?
then i install a patch on it and then data transfer to 4.11 ps3?

and How much would you say a 3.55 ps3 would cost?

and will i lose any data when i data transfer to 4.11 from 3.55?

im still stuck on mine but have learnt loads through the helpful posts on ngu. to start you can go on ebay and buy a ps3 on 3.55 but pick up only and test at there house to be sure start at £140-£200, secondly i data transfered it takes minutes u need ethernet cable to connect ps3 to ps3 if you copy the right video on youtube u will be fine. but yes you will loose trophies all acounts but you can just sign in with your account by clicking existing user.

After i have installed Jailbreak on the 3.55 ps3 what do i have to do to install a patch for say mw2 i know you have to install the packages and do something on the file manager or something.
but what exactly do i have to do
