im not bothered to watch it, but normally they use sound boards. Basically its just a collection of LOTS of quotes from the person they are immitating, then they just play them as they want. But to make it look very professional you would need to have alot of quotes and not just their catch phrases, also some casual conversation & comeback quotes so that they seem more real than just 4 or 5 catch phrases being repeated over and over..
