i would do tht if u could there would be no prob at all n u can buy A new blu-ray drive from amazon i did this whn my ps3 blu-ray went out n it only cost me 100 bucks for it so not bad at all...... i do it for sure

no i wouldnt, once a ps3 goes like that i find it 2 be a recurring problem
