But, I need to know:


1. The E3 can downgrade any newer firmware down to 3.55?

2. Once at 3.55, and after I jailbreak, is there a way to get PSN?

3. Last, is Modern Warfare 3 compatible with 3.55?

Any help is greatly appreciated for a n00b.
I am great at hacking iOS, Android, and other stuff. Just new to the PS3 hacking scene. I have been jailbroken before, but when the DNS hack stopped working, I upgraded.

To question # 2.) Yes you can get PSN with a spoofer, but I believe that Sony has already patched/blocked the spoofer.
question #3.) No, you can only play Mw3 with firmware 3.72 and above.

if you downgrade to 3.55 and buy a true blue dongle you can DL an eboot and play it (offline only) and any newer game u will have to wait for an eboot

Not worth it then. if I can't play mw3 online then no way.

if i was to apply custom patches on a 3.55 cfw ps3 would the cls stay on as current patches or would i have to get another ps3 and daata transfer it??
