What do i do. i am using latest version of multiman and gaia.

Not all ps3 games can be run from the hard drive. Some require a / any game disk to be in the drive, but, will run from multiman. Try googling ps3 backup compatibility list, and, there are several sites that have nice tables that show this.

It's also possible your rip was corrupted. Try it again.
