so i was just doing the hardrive swap trick without update my 3.61 ps3 with the 3.55 hardrive i did it all right but when im in the bit where you press start and select it says The system software cannot be run correctly press the ps button to try to restart. and continiues and says try to install 3.61 or higher. is it the hardrive corrupt how can i fix this without update can i fake update to 3.61

ps3 firmware is installed internally to the nor/or nand. if you updated your ps3 above 3.55 say goodbye to jailbreaking it {}

3.55 is the way to go
