I tried different , ALOT of different Ethernet cables . And The green light under the Ethernet plug in port doesn't light up does that mean anything ? can anyone help ? I'm going crazy over here D=

Turn both ps3's off, then connect both with ethernet on and then turn on and try to data transfer :try:

This may help. I turn off both PS3s, unplug both power cords , then plug in the Ethernet cord in both PS3s, then turn on both ps3 around the same time. Then try to data transfer.

Yeah the Ethernet cord snaps in

You might have broken a contact... I did that to mine cord snaps in but won't register on the console

Is there any way to fix a broken contact ?
