(If i got a dollar for every time i heard this question...) You might not be able to downgrade your consol depending on when you purshased it. If you got it before february 2011 you should be able to downgrade. You will need an e3 flasher. This requires you to pull your PS3 apart though. You wont need to solder.

Either way, it is a NOR and under 3.55 factory FW so it will work fine with the E3 Flasher.
