Do the DEX firmwares allow you to run games that are 3.60+ patched? And are you able to run several games from a hard drive through a backup manager, same as 3.55 CFWs?
there are several DEX firmware:
355DEX_ROGERO_PEEKPOKE : this firmware is based on DEX 3.55 with peek poke which means, you can use multiman to launch backup, the same way you are currently doing on 355_CFW_TB
420DEX : official firmware from sony.
it can launch 4+ games but not all games !
you can launch games with updates.
basically, you download the game update for CEX, you convert it to DEX (there are TUTs on internet), you install the patch like a standard package.
then u will need a HDD which is specifically format to launch games (again, TUTs on internet).
you put your games on that HDD (4 at a time on the HDD but only 1 is active)
you plug you HDD and you can play the game
FROM 420DEX, you can downgrade to 355DEX
