The catch is I cant uninstall the spoofer because every time I start up my home-brew it just goes to a black screen and I have heard that you need to reinstall the OFW then put your patch or CFW back on but I cant do that because I have the spoofer and its just a big loop and I really need some help!!!

Hey I think I have seen this before while browsing the PS3 Scene sites and I believe that you have to install the OFW within the "Recovery Menu"



To get into Recovery Menu you hold down the power button until the playstation turns off. Then hold down the power button again until you hear a double beep when it beeps twice let go of the power button and you will be in recovery menu.

Choose option 6 to update.

If you have not already got the 3.55 OFW PUP file i have included it in a link after this post along with Kmeaw 3.55 just incase you would like to change CFW.

I believe that the reason that it will not let you update to OFW within the XMB is because Geohot never actually finished patching certain files and it was left the way it was.

I might be wrong but you remember the fiasco that happened when he released this along with the keys.
