Post: PS3 won't turn off E3 flasher

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); 1. I installed the e3 flasher
2. when i pluged in the esata station it did not show up so i decided it to do it without out the esata station
3. upgraded the e3 flasher successfully
4. when i try to downgrade it it did not work
5. turned it off and once i turn it on again and tried to turn it off it did not work.
these are all the steps can anyone help me plz

shouldnt mess with shit like that unless u know exactly what your doing lol, if you were looking to downgrade why not just buy a 3.55 off ebay

you have to do it the way it is said, look at tuts on YouTube, also when you dont have a hdd in a ps3 it wont let you do anything you and the e3 flasher board probably isnt seated in all the way into the female end of ps3... so you couldnt downgrade... what error code did you get?

i did watch to tutorial but were i messed up is that my modle is a cech2001a and the motherboard is diffrent than the one that the tutoraial has

You got that error because the clip is not properly seated/connected.

Do you have the Samsung Nor chip? If so then you will most likely need to sand down or cut the clip a little so that the clip will fit flush against the mobo.

I had this issue myself and once I cut the little step off of the side of the clip it seated right then I used coins/foam to put pressure on the clip to keep a good connection.
