I've seen a couple posts of people getting their ps3's to work without bluray. I've un-jailbroke from geo, restored ofw 3.55 and than updated to kmeaw's 3.55 and still no luck. Any suggestions? I'm not much for homebrews just want to get ftp on this for minimal dev.

hi i have 3.55 ps3 its jb on kmeaw cfw and i have no blue ray drive and all my pkg work fine try and restore ur settings and install cfw agen

does it allow you to install pkg's if so you could decompile pkg put the modded file in then recompile it and install this guy has a good tut

Yes i can install pkg's and all that good stuff.

If i do a data transfer from my 4.21, would it be possible to ftp game data to my pc and vice versa? just trying to play with character settings in dead island.

Also i heard that you can take outh the player itself and leave the logic board, somehow running pkgs and homebrew works then, i'll confirm this in a few.,
