depends you can only run backups if you have a jailbroken ps3 if you do i recommend installing kmeaw and gaia manager for best backup compatabilty and uuse ps3iso.com to find your games if not your out of luck

If I do it by a backup will it have to be an up to date backup? like one with the correct patch and everytime a new patch came out would I have to update? Or would it just be like the normal game? And that will work online right?

depends ill look around for you i used to have a mw3 fix but you did have to install a new pkg everytime theres an update but theyre really small the packages about 3mb
