It rebooted, but the screen didn't show up.
Could it have messed up the output from HDMI to AV?

Just checked it. It wasn't that.

It messed up, the cfw probably or you can go to the recovery menu and restart the ps3, or go to the recovery menu and reinstall kmeaw cfw and the video will show again.

Recovery mode? It won't display anything. only the blue screen with no signal (vizio tv)

I had this issue at first and it gave me a RSOD (red screen of death) but don't worry! What I did was go into recovery mode, which is turning on the playstation but keep holding the button on the ps3 till it beeps twice and turns off and let go then turn it on again and keep holding it, it will beep once and then twice really fast thats when you let go and your in recovery mode. I also have a Vizio and you will be able to see the screen. Then just restore it back to 3.55 CFW. I hope this helps!

THANK YOU GUYS, SOOOO MUCH. It had ps3 ultimate installed, so when I booted up, and saw the standard start-up, i kind of freaked out. But, i launched a couple of my jailbreak packages and everything worked. You guys were a lot of help.
