You having an error trying to install it or load it?btw after update you ps3 to 3.55 what CFW did you install?

i had a very similar problem in that comgenie file manager wouldnt load after being installed - no matter what firmware or anything. everything worked fine except this but that ps3 is scrap now. but anyway i think when we change firmware something is being left over because i then suddenly lost ability to play blu ray movies (no it wasnt the laser or board because i tried 3 of them). i also tried official and unofficial (cfw) firmwares etc and wouldnt work (yes i know about the files that you lose when you downgrade but when you install otheros firmware movies should still play - mines didnt). so anyway it doesnt matter but back to topic post the error code and well see if we can help.

ah, dont use geohots, i would use rebug or kmeaw
