Question: Is their any plan for the near future/way currently to have a CFW/JailBreak for OFW 4.25 (I'm currently on) - Using the old USB transfer method? Or will it only ever be available again using the E3 flasher?

I actually came here for the same thing. I actually misread the tutorial and updated my PS3 to 4.25 OFW thinking you would need it to downgrade to 3.55 CFW. Stupid me. Oh well.

You need to be on 3.55 ofw to get the 4.20 cfw. Sony patched the exploit when 3.56+ was released.

So it will never be possible to be on 4.25 OFW and then onto a CFW? Unless you use E3 flasher?

usb method was patched and you just have to flash your ps3 if its able to run the fw not all can or wait for a software bypass to allow flashing of cfw again
