(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok, so i have my 3.55, and i opened openftpsplit and the ps3 screen just went black. whenever i turn on my ps3, it wont show the picture, just the hdmi settings, like what channel it is on. ive tried resetting the picture, and nothing happens. ive one into dfu mode, and press restart system and it does nothing. if anyone could help that would be great

do you only get a black screen when you open openftpsplit of so it means there is something wrong with your blu-ray drive

yes, i bought the ps3 with a broken blu ray drive, but bought a replacement ribbon and it updated to a 3.55 ofw, and then i updated to kmeaws 3.55 cfw. it wouldnt even let me transfer patches to my 4.30. ive tried everything, and now it just says "hard disk cannot be found" when its in my ps3. there are tutorials on youtube and none of them have work for me. i think i might invest in a better one, but any solutions are great. thanks
