Apparently you have to check whats the lowest firmware you can go to to JB, I found a .PUP called "MinVerChk" i put it on my ps3 and said my lowest i could go to was 3.65. One of my questions here is can i install 4.30CFW Im running on 4.30 OFW without going to 3.55?If i try to go to 3.55 will my PS3 get bricked or what exactly?ink:

As far as i know you cannot install these newer firmwares without a ps3 that can get downgraded to 3.55 or is already on 3.55. You will certainly brick if you attempt to install a lower FW then the system supports.
