Im pretty sure I have to solder but what point do I solder to the PS3 motherboard and what point do i Solder onto the E3 linker. If anyone could respond that would be appreciated.

solder a wire from the sbe point to the tristate point on your motherboard then youll be able to use ps3 fun mode on your e3 flasher and it will bypass the brick switch and then reflash your ps3 with the backup you made and it should restore successfuly

So, once I got the wire soldered do I just turn my ps3 on and press start really fast, because it only turns on for a second or two.
