I really need help! I am a complete noob when it comes to jail reaking because I never tried it. All my PS3's that I bought were never on 3.55. I have jailbroken my PSP before and it was easy. Now I am going to buy a 3.55 PS3 from eBay. It is a 320GB PS3 Slim that includes something called TrueBlue and it includes 30 games of my choice. It is a brand new PS3 that has 3.55 firmware on it. Also it says resticted to play online. Does this mean it is banned from PSN? Or you cannot play on PSN at all? Because I also want to host modded lobbies. I messaged the guy on eBay and he said " yes, you can log onto PSN ". What does he mean? If the console is on 3.55 how can it log onto PSN? Also can you guys please give me all the links to everything such as CFW, How to get online on 4.30, How to get games, how to host modded lobbies, etc.

To answer one of your questions it is possible to get on ps3 even if your firmware is on 3.55. There is a thing called a spoofer which you install on your ps3, and when active will spoof your ps3's firmware to a different one. It doesnt actually change your ps3 firmware. Sometimes they get patched and you wont be able to go back on psn on your jailbroken ps3 until a new spoofer is released for whatever the latest firmware is out.

To answer another one your questing regarding hosting modded lobbies. To host cod4, w@w, and mw2 you download things called patches, which you can find many on this site, and you transfer them to your ps3 using a FTP server or file manger.(I wont go into to much detail on how to do that since there are many tutorials on that on this site and on youtube) After you transfer them you can do a thing called data transfer which will transfer these patches on to your ofw ps3. (The purpose of transferring is so you can play online if like a spoofer is patched and you cant acceses psn on cfw, also it just a lot better to play on your ofw ps3 so you dont have to worry about your jailbroken one getting ylod.) helo ther cud u help i cant install mw3 dlc i have changed the rap files to epooo bles01428 and installed the pkgs aswell they show up on filezilla but not the game wen i play its driven me nuts plz help

It was a little hard understanding what you where saying there but basically you cant download the map packs on cfw from the psn store. You need find the .pkgs for the maps and activate them with a thing called reactpsn. There tutorials on ngu on how to use reactpsn.

ive done it i can see maps on file zilla but not on actual game im using blus rap files changed to bles 01428 ive started react psn the user changes and no maps pkgs are installed dont know what im doing wrong
