The only way of being able to Data Transfer over the internet, is to use Hamachi... It is a free VPN and pretty easy to use... Just hook up a computer and Ps3 together with an ethernet cable and set your Ps3 to the "wired" network setting... They just join one another on Hamachi, and sort out who hosts etc... Then, making sure your pc has internet access and is connected to the internet, you will be able to Data Transfer...
