On your 3.55 you need to toggle QA before updating to any CFW

QA is already toggled im asking can i put it on my 4.30 OFW and will it downgrade it to 3.55.3 or am i understanding this incorrectly

You can't downgrade a PS3(OFW) without E3 flasher so that 999 downgrader is just for CFWs

Try doing it by going into Recovery then select System Update!
