Post: How to avoid getting PS3 Banned

I have been reading a lot of the posts recently and I think there are several conclusions that I have made. First is that if you get banned currently there's no way of avoiding the ban except if you don't spoof your MAC but for some people that doesn't work.
Secondly if you play copied games on CFW through multiman ect Sony can monitor that and issue you a ban so the best way is to turn of your internet and play them offline until there is a solid fix against PS3 bans.
Third that would be the best thing is to play legit games (with the disk) to avoid bans and that is the best option for the moment. So please these are simply conclusions if you have experienced any other situations or have something to add please put it below for the rest of the community. If you disagree with anything that I have said please correct me as well. Thank you.

I have read that they react to cheating reports now more than ever so don't mod games such as COD.
Also I read that Sony can't detect if the game is legit or not. Oh well... Who knows?
