yes you can if you get an e3 flasher.

you dont exactly need an E3 Flasher. i got my ps3 downgraded from 4.25 OFW to 3.55 CFW for $80, at a computer tech shop that use a hardware flasher!
i asked the shop about E3 flashers and they said "E3's are shit!"
