Say booting from a flash drive or a external HDD. Just an idea so I can hear your thoughts about this. BTW Lv0 CAN'T be patched. So if we do this, they would have to create a new PS3 (Unlike the 3.55 CFW where they released a OFW and it took away everything on the CFW).

the bootldr is in the ps3 hardware and anyway how are you going to change how ppc works on their os they built that's not asking to brick thousands of ps3s just to test an "idea"what your thinking is different from what is , your ps3 boots into game os after security checks are made for the most part, how is booting off a usb helping or do you mean installing fw on the system using usb which cant be done so like SC58 said buy a 3.55
