(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey all

it is not the first PS3 I jailbreak using an E3 Flasher but my new one (well old model of course (it is compatible)) has a Samsung Nor Chip plus it is not oriented properly.

Most people have their chip that way :

But mine is like this :

I've tried more then 10 times to place it properly but the clip doesn't feel to fit properly. It looks like if I place correctly the right side, the left side goes up and if I place correctly the left side, the right side goes up. The first thing I thought it to try to sand it a bit but it didn't work so I kept sanding it but still no success. The clip just doesn't clip properly on it so I always get 10001100 error which usually means it is not properly placed (Failed to initialize bios, something like it).

So yeah I'm lost, I've no idea of what I could do :S Should I get a new clip? if so what will I do? It's not gonna fit properly again I guess

PS: Pictures from google

Thanks you

i have done alot of ps3's using a 3e flasher and ran into errors like this alot. set the clip on correctly and have a way to give it pressure, i tapped and folded toilet paper up to create this extra pressure from the case being closed on it. now what you need to also do is solder tristate nor to the sbe. also do not get your nand confuse with a nor. make sure its not a nand since newer phats with nands have one on top and one on bottom , while newer phats than those have one single nor. after soldering and creating a pressure for the clip update your e3 flasher to the samsung version to allow multi console use. after all this is done see if you can do a back up. if you can not then your clip might be dead and you will need to order a new one. aanother reason for this is the hdd. you must wait for the ps3 to quit its contact with the hdd the orangehdd light, now sometimes when a hdd is on a verge of going bad it will be super slow and take quite some time to do a back up. one easy way to fix is to do this all with no hdd in the ps3 until your ready to downgrade.

Thanks for your answer, but it is not the first time I jailbreak I PS3 so yeah the first I've done I didn't listen the tuto and flashed directly a custom firmware that didn't support downgrade and bricked Happy so I had soldered the nor tristate :P But this PS3 is really annoying me, whatever I do it doesn't fit. I'm even unable to make it fit with my thumbs and I press a lot. I will get a new one I guess
