(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just as the title states, I'm a complete newbie to the site and this is my first actual post. I've been learking for a while to read as much as possible, but seem to be in the dark on quite a few things still. I'm currently running 3.55 (4.30 spoofed) and can't seem to get any of the Eboot files to work for MW3. I was hoping one of you more expierience folks on the forum might be able to give me some assistance.

There's a ton of information on the site and I feel like I'm drowning sometimes trying to follow it all. Any suggestions on where to start?

Don't feel bad. I have tried to get help too, but no luck there. I bought Xploder and just started reading threads. I been catching on slowly. I can help you as much as I can with what I have learned. What area did you have questions on? I been trying to figure out CFW so I prob can't help you with that.

Yeah I do. Just like you and probably even more I leark. I am into writing html, script, code, and sdk development now so yeah I read a lot of forums and although my rep and post count is low I am still knowledgeable. I too was on 3.55 kmeaw and spoofed up. A lot of the eboots are very finicky and often don't work. If I were you I would upgrade to 4.30 Rogero. It is smooth, overall excellent and on there you can play ANY game. Also the multiman is very smooth on there and you keep the same basic pkg's you love on 3.55 -- multiman, psid changer, file manager, ftp and more -- the only thing(s) you miss are the emulators but personally I don't use them. I can share some pages I have bookmarked pages upon pages in a folder called ps3 modding (I would really get a bookmark folder with more folders in it to keep everything you see documented and easily accessible. Do the same on your desktop, I have a folder called Julian's stuff that is 155gb big with folders containing sooooo much.)

In conclusion:
Rogero is most certainly your best bet. But make sure you evade the banhammer Smile
If you need any help just ask because as I said I have a low post count but know my fair share.

links for rogero I used when I upgraded:

snipesome: Thanks a lot for the tips. I'm a mechanical engineer by background, but only have a little exposure to computer programming. This is completely different though........LOL. I've been reading some more on my particular issue and may have found a solution, but I haven't tried it yet. When I saved MW3 to my external hard drive, I only updated the game data to 1.23. From some other threads I've found, I believe I need to install the previous updates from 1.19 to 1.23. I'm going to give it a try and report back. Not sure if this will fix my problem, but I'm willing to try it.

Edit: I was able to load the previous packages successfully and fix the problem. I was also able to use the Eboot builder successfully. All the information was here on the site, it just took me a little while to find it.
