You need a E3 flasher but the right one also you need to downgrade to 3.55 or lower first.
Once you get CFW 3.55 you can go up to 4.31 CFW.

i tryed the e3 flasher on 3 differnt ps3 but it kept saying my clip was on wrong...:impatient: so i had to take apart the ps3 atleast 20 times untill on the 3rd ps3 i riped the clip..:cry: so i wont be trying that again..

You can only downgrade with a hardware flasher.
