(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so I just converted my ps3 to 3.55 DEX firmware following Choco's tutorial. Everything went fine and installed the .PUP he recommended.

And I was then trying to get online with my ps3, and so I had a spoofer for Kmewa (sorry don't know if that's spelled right) and I completly forgot that it was ONLY for Kmewa. By the time I realized what I did, it was too late.

And now that I installed the spoof, I have no picture and its just a black screen. Only thing I can do is open up my recovery menu, but other than that I have nothing.

I know that was really stupid of me to do, and I know that it takes more than to just spoofing your ps3 to get online with the DEX firmware.

But if you guys know how I could get that spoof disabled or removed, I would very much appreciate it. I don't think there is a way for me to do it but I could be wrong.

Please help if you can.

I had a problem recently with DEX and getting a black screen every time I turned it on. I could also access recovery menu but it wouldnt rebuild the database or anything like that, It would go to a black screen and stay there. I didn't get it by installing a spoofer but I got out of it by going on to ProDG target manager, connecting to my ps3 (wired) and clicking on the "Reset to XMB" button, made me re set up my PS3 (I think it was because I pressed restore in recovery) but it was still on the same firmware

Same happend to me i just turn my ps3 off and turn it on hold the power butten to 2 beeb and give you hdmi option chose yes then it well work
