My ps3 has been banned and I am trying to get it unbanned, but when i call Sony they can't even tell me why it has been banned (only that it has violated terms of service). I talked to 800-345-SONY and they couldn't tell me anything so then they sent me to 866-286-5123. The second number said pretty much the same thing and that they are not able to unban a console because it is above them and. So basically I am asking: is it even possible for my ps3 to be unbanned through Sony?

What are you using?
A OFW PS3 or a CFW PS3?

It's OFW obviously or I could unban it.

No it's not possible however are mods which can only be done on CFW PS3s which make it possible.
No way on OFW PS3's to unban and sony once they ban your console they won't unban you.

The question is, what have you done, that they ban you without using a CFW?

I gave someone my console ID so they could unban their ps3. Now that they are banned, I am banned. I tried to tell Sony this w/o telling them I gave someone my ID. I put in a question asking them if someone could make their ps3 appear as mine so when they get banned I get banned; he told me that is not possible.

maybe you can try and try again.
But I think they don't gonna unban you. so I would say, downgrade your PS3,
and jailbreak it and somedays you will have the option to unban yourself

That's probably the dumbest possible thing you could have done. Give someone your OFW console id because their banned. They got banned for a reason.

If someone has a console ID that works please pm in return I will do xp lobbies for any cod
