Post: Lag switch + force host

I've built a lag switch (T568Bb -> cutted the orange wire in half and connected them with the switch). Now I wannna play Black Ops 2 on PS3. But to get the lag switch working, you have to be host, right? So how can you force getting host, is there a possibility?
Btw, i d'ont know whether it is important or not, but when i do the internet test, there stands: upnp not available, though i've enabled it in the internet settings...
I'd appreciate any answer

You cannot have a two in one modem, as the lag switch will not work. I've investigated this several times. Your router must be separate from your modem for it to work. Hope I helped.

It should be setup like this modem------strait thru cable----------router-------------strait thru cable--------------------switchbox-----------------lagswitch----------switchbox-----strait thru cable---------------ps3 that way your modem router and ps3 can not detect that your using it
for force hostgo to find game hit square or x if your on xbox then select best for internet conection esayer to get host
select the match you want freeforall is very easy to get host because no partys plus you only need 4 people to start game
When it says testing matches turn switch on then wait for it to say joining game lobby then turn off then when it says testing matches agian turn on then wait if it say trying to join 1 out of 3 good games filp your switch on and off then you should be in your own room
it will say analizing matches above where it says maps when it says this you have to turn it on if it say analizing 0 out of 0 good games leave it on it will disaper turn it off do that untill enough people join
It will say migratin hosts turn it on wait till it say migratin host ...5 then tur it off you should be hst if not then repeat also
make sure mtu is at 1500 it will help you get host

Ok thanks so far, now I succeed to be the host (waiting for 6 players...), but i guess, when people join, they become host. But i'm not sure. How can I see that i'm still host ? Is there any visable difference between being host and being a regular lobby member ? You know what I mean, are there any signals that show that you're the host?
