Well if you want to do RTE, the main difference in the two is that you can only switch to DEX on 4.21.2, and not on 4.30.1. You can sign into psn on both cfws.

hey bro, rebug 4.21.2 is good, it allows you to switch between cex(retail) and dex(developers system)
i still havnt found out what exactly you can do on dex and what the difference is but you can definately use psn on both cex and dex.
if you decide to update to 4.21 and you want to switch from cex to dex makesure before you update you 'dump you eid root key' or you will have to go back to 3.55 and do it. check this post from derek trotter You must login or register to view this content.

with 4.21.2 u can switch to DEX and i think only DEX can do RTE

4.21 is REX edition, 4.30 is not, yet. 4.21 Is just for a more advanced user and has more options.
