The main difference between the two are game fixes. 4.30 doesnt require game fixes for new games while 3.55 does. There are certain things on 3.55 you can't do yet on 4.30. As for the best...I don't know. It's up to whatever you are looking to do. I've always stuck to REBUG CFW. Don't see many people complaining about bricks or anything for that matter.
