I was told that Rex Rebug 4.21 was good so I downloaded it. My problem is that when I put the update on my usb stick and back on the ps3 its not finding any update. am I doing something wrong and if so can you please address the problem. Thanks too all.

The files in you USB should go like this
PS3-UPDATE-PS3UPDAT.PUP
Also, try to install it via recovery menu
