What was the factory firmware. I'm pretty sure you can't downgrade with an E3 Flasher if the factory firmware is higher than 4.xx+

If you have a disk in your ps3 take it sometimes that can require you to update, what cfw did you use?

Maybe you can find a degradeer cfw? A reverse or e3 flasher will degrade it for you.

You can however downgrade to 4.30CFW from 4.30OFW without touchign 3.55.
