My 3.55 ps3 got stuck on a update loop with error 8002F1F9 when i tried to install 4.21 Rebug on my 3.55 ps3.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I would be really happy if u helped me fix this Error :cry:

I got the same error its the wifi or bluetooth board not working. replace it or i think u can get a custom fw to bypass the checks but not sure

Okey i've allready checked the conection on the bluetooth board and also on the wifi board.

Whats a custom fw? And how can i bypass the checks with it?

Custom Firm Ware = CFW

Like REBUG 4.21.2 you are trying to install is a CFW. But that CFW has checks to make sure the bt/wifi module is working. If it is not working you get that error and end up in an update loop.

To get out of the loop you need fix the bt/module. Or format your hdd with your pc. Put it back in the PS3 and install a CFW that has the checks removed. Like Rogero 4.30 v2.05.

Or you can use MFW Builder to remove the checks from REBUG. I actually have made a REBUG REX 4.21.2, that has the bt and bd checks removed, with MFW Builder.

I have not tested it yet. But if you want it after I test it, I would be more than happy to upload it for you.

use mfw only if you know what you do..otherwise enjoy your brick...

check the cable from wifi board to motherboard..if you have a chance put or test a other wf board..
