Looked everywhere for an answer to this but have hit a wall.

Using rebug cfw, I've recently changed my ps3's region from pal/uk to ntsc/us. I'm now thinking about buying a cobra dongle, which means I'll have to switch to their cfw. When I do, will my console revert back to pal, or will it keep the new setting?

You do realize that 99% of PS3 games don't have a region lock?

Yes, but ps1 and ps2 games do.

Got oneCool Man (aka Tustin) But I'd rather have it all on the one console. Plus, a hacked ps3 can play all three consoles games off the hdd.

And If i remember correctly...a hacked ps2 can only play ps2 games from the hdd. Ps1 games need to be booted from disc.

Last time I checked, you can play PS2 & PS1 games off of the HDD (might be wrong though, idc). Anyways, I'm pretty sure you can remove the region on PS3 since you have the .ISO
