You need to downgrade to 3.55. You need a E3 flasher to downgrade.

Can you use a E3 Flasher on a 4.40 Ps3 updated?

just wait on a 4.31 cfw but its just speculations so don't get mad if it don't happen just keep your hopes up hopefully its a real attempt an not a rumor even though i heard it is a rumor.

The firmware is not important for downgrades.
But you must have a downgradeable model.
