I have been away from the ps3 modding scene since CFW flashing was patched and I am completely lost. before I flash any CFW I wanted to ask a couple of questions. I have 1 PS3 on 3.55 OFW and 1 ps3 on the most recent update. I mostly want to host lobbies and stuff on older games like mw2 and mod some other games online, but from what I understand now adays it is detected if you spoof or use a homebrew is that correct? So what do I have to do? Can i spoof the most recent FW and update mw2 and do file transfers to my OFW ps3? SUPER CONFUSED.

Any help would be appreciated, long help, thread links, etc.
