You can Only Jailbreak if you are on 3.55 OFW/CFW
Otherwise not possible unless you downgrade using E3 Flasher or Go on Ebay and get a PS3 Downgrade service for 40-70$

No, you would have to downgrade to 3.55. Here's a link to the guide I followed and it went great! It well explain everything you need to know to jailbreak your ps3 and how to.
