You're going to need an E3 flasher, will run around $100. As of now: A hardware flasher is the ONLY way to go from latest firmware back to 3.55.

I recommend this site, I got mine from there and I had no issues with my E3 Flasher. Also make sure your ps3 has a NOR flash on it. Use this guide it has everything you need to know! MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING BEFORE DOING ANYTHING VERY IMPORTANT!!!
