Make sure that you have the clip snapped all the way onto the NOR chip. Also, there should be an error code text file on the SD card to check what went wrong.

I havent used the sd card yet. What do you do with it

I would bet you don't have the e3 clipped in all the way. make sure its really on there and then you should get a light. Also remember you can't use a nand chip...
